The Mu group focuses on applying green chemistry in energy, resource, environment, catalysis, and advanced materials. Currently, the group is active in research areas including:
(1) Green chemistry
(2) Energy chemistry: fossil energy, hydrogen energy, biomass energy, ammonia economy;
(3) Environment and resource: greenhouse gas; volatile organic compounds (VOCs), wasted plastics, minerals, waste electronic products;
(4) Forestry resource chemistry: pretreatment and valorization of lignocellulose and platform compounds;
(5) Solution chemistry: ionic liquids, deep eutectic solvents, and supercritical carbon dioxide;
(6) Chemical engineering thermodynamics and machine learning.

牟天成课题组致力于将绿色化学和可持续发展的理念应用于资源、能源、环境、催化和先进材料制备等领域。目前,课题组感兴趣的研究内容包括:温室气体、VOCs 、废弃塑料、矿物、废弃电子产品分离和净化处理;生物质及平台化合物预处理和高值化转化;化学和化工热力学、溶液化学、绿色溶剂、机器学习等相关领域。
